Lusona Financial Services are looking for a trainee financial planner to join a financial advice business in Glasgow. The firm have numerous partnerships with affinity introducers, which will give the trainee financial adviser access to a large number of potential clients.
As a trainee financial adviser, you will work closely with a senior chartered planner who will help you develop your technical knowledge and client facings skills. The chartered planner will attend client meetings with you until you are fully trained and will continue to help you develop your client base. After your training is complete, you will continue to manage the client relationship on an ongoing basis.
The employer is a national IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) who offer financial planning services, covering all areas of pension, investment, protection, IHT and CGT planning. They predominantly offer advice to high earning professionals, wealthy individuals and business owners.
It is essential that you have experience working in the financial services market, but the client is open minded and would happily accept applications from individuals working in a product provider environment. They are open to applications from paraplanners, trainee financial advisers, broker consultants and telephone account managers who are looking to move into financial planning. It is essential that you are diploma qualified via the CII, LIBF, CISI or a similar body.
A starting salary of between £25,000 and £35,000 has been budgeted. You can expect higher future earnings through bonus and wage rises as your experience grows.
