Technology Risk Manager required for the expanding Scottish Risk Assurance practice of this Big 4 firm of Chartered Accountants.
The Technology Risk team within Risk Assurance practice provide expert technical advice, guidance and support on technology risk projects to clients across multiple sectors. As Manager, you will develop and apply strategies that help clients leverage enterprise technologies so they can get a higher return on their investment, mitigate risks, streamline processes, and find operational inefficiencies. The team assist clients in understanding and challenging their current risk profiles and develop strategies to build digital confidence by embracing opportunities to stay competitive through building trust and resilience into their technology systems. They cover a wide range of disciplines, including risk evaluation, operational and strategic Information Technology processes, project governance, application implementation, data integrity, cyber security, and accounting/audit.
Reporting to Director, your responsibilities will include:
Managing and delivering multiple assignments, including producing documentation and reports.
Maintaining technical IT knowledge and certifications, sharing this knowledge with junior team members.
Managing multiple teams in delivering client engagements
Building client relationships and establishing credibility by demonstrating knowledge of various aspects of technology risk, and identifying opportunities
Working as a subject matter expert in your field.
Working with colleagues in other services areas and support clients’ technology risk needs.
You will have a proven track record in technology risk with a specific speciality in either IT enabled transformation project assurance, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems assurance or data assurance. A relevant professional qualification such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CA is advantageous. You will be well grounded in technology risk methodologies, best practice and industry standards. Excellent communication (oral and written) and client handing skills are imperative as the desire and ability to provide a first-class service to clients.
