Our client is a leading industrial equipment manufacturer, who as a result of some internal changes, need to appoint an ambitious Aftermarket Sales Engineer to be part of the internal sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical sales support to the firms customers across the EMEA Region – as a result the role will require an element of travel across the region occasionally. You shall be involved in all aspects of the sales cycle, supporting the sales team from RFQ, proposals, pre-sales through to delivery, ensuring the products meet customer requirements. It is also expected that you shall play an active part in the development of more accurate market intelligence, looking at new and existing approaches to increase sales and market share. You will also be expected to attend trade fairs across the region at various points in the year, some requiring a number of days away from home.
It is expected that you shall be degree qualified, though relevant experience may be consider in lieu of a technical degree, possess first class communication skills, have an eye for detail, and an ability to work to tight deadlines.
