Exceptional opportunity for junior developers to join a highly-innovative and fast growing software house in Lanarkshire. 

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will have responsibility for designing, developing and testing code for the company’s advanced user platform. With ambitious plans for growth and investment in technology, the software development team play a key role in the continued growth and success of a growing business who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and solutions for customers. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality, functional code to meet both business and customer requirements
  • Working collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum development team
  • Producing a high standard of work to set timescales
  • Working to support the continuous improvement of the SDLC process
  • Maintaining, building and modernising your software engineering skillset
  • Ad-hoc project work as allocated by senior management

You must have:

  • A First-Class or Upper Second-Class Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Development
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ practical experience in coding in C# on the .NET platform
  • Excellent object-orientated design skills
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Extreme Programming techniques
  • Knowledge and/or experience of modern enterprise cloud-based systems, including web and micro services, object relational mapping and an understanding of Relational Databases and integration into applications
  • Knowledge and/or experience of MVC modern web architecture, client-side framework and standards-based front-end development
  • A strong passion to learn, develop and collaborate with other members of the team


  • Good experience of systems, UX and customer interface design
  • Practical knowledge of continuous integration/deployment, automated build, test and other SDLC tools
