Lusona Financial Services are looking for an experienced senior support consultant to join a general insurance broker in Glasgow that have a long established financial planning business. The firm comfortably grow year or year and have a stable team so very rarely need to hire new staff externally, often getting referrals from their existing team.
The business is about to embark on the next chapter in the company’s history so are looking to attract an experienced senior support administrator who will work closely with their main financial planner and managing director. As the business grows the managing director’s position becomes more varied taking in elements of management, financial advice and compliance, amongst many more. They need someone that can help them manage this busy workload.
Your role will entail a range of duties including processing new business, processing renewals, producing valuations, liaising with clients, product providers, solicitors, accountants and a range of other external parties. The role will involve being able to think on your feet, so as a task arises you will need to assess the situation and come up with a solution rather than waiting on instruction.
Good knowledge of investments, pension and protection is required but there is no need to be a technician as they already have paraplanning available. The knowledge required will allow you to have high level conversations with all individuals involved in the advice process and knowing how to find out the additional information required.
A salary of between £18,000 and £25,000 has been budgeted for this position, and they will happily pay the top end for the right individual. Beyond this there are company benefits and a bonus which pays around 10% of salary.
