An excellent opportunity join our Glasgow based Financial Services client within their Regulatory Reporting Change team as Senior Project Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Regulatory Reporting Change team sits within Finance and has responsibility for the delivery of new and changes to existing regulatory reporting.  Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a range of regulatory reporting, data, controls and/or financial reporting experience to fill a role on this rolling programme of mandatory Regulatory change delivery, including the annual BoE concurrent stress test exercise. You will a clear understanding and interpretation of Regulatory rules, and enjoy analysing, designing, testing and implementing change; in order to meet Regulatory requirements, reducing operational risk and delivering business process improvements.

This role is all about…

  • Delivering change to the PRA, FCA, Bank of England and European Banking Authority (EBA) reporting, including the bank’s first participation in the annual Bank of England concurrent stress test exercise.
  • Providing detailed and specialist knowledge and insight to support the change delivery of regulatory reporting.
  • Engaging with teams across the bank to analyse, define, test and deliver new / changed reporting requirements.
  • Developing supporting business and control processes, delivering training and documentation to ensure a smooth transition to the Business as Usual teams within Finance.

Your background…

  • Experience in the development or production of Regulatory or Financial reporting within Financial Services. For example: COREP, FINREP, Bank of England, Bank of England concurrent stress testing framework.
  • Ability to interpret Regulation and convert into requirements and designs.
  • Strong analysis and communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis, interrogation and extraction skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
