Lusona are working exclusively with APUC to recruit a Senior Procurement Specialist to be based on-site at Perth College.

The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for all of the clients procurement requirements, so no two days will be the same!  You will have responsible for day to day procurement requirements, OJEU tendering, mini-competitions, quick quotes and maintaining all systems management and reporting.  You will get to work with a variety of Stakeholders and be responsible for delivering a first-class procurement service to them. 

You will work closely with your colleagues in the wider UHI Team and report directly to the Senior Procurement Manager who heads up the UHI Team.

Experience and knowledge required for the role:

  • You must have worked within a Procurement Role within a Public Sector Organisation
  • In-depth knowledge of EU & Public Sector Procurement procedures and current legislation including the Procurement Reform Act
  • Proven experience in tendering
  • Knowledge of the principles of contract drafting and negotiation
  • Have strong communication skills and enjoy working with people!!!
