Lusona’s client, a Glasgow-based Global Corporate, are looking for a Reporting Accountant to join their Compensation control team. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly or part qualified accountant to develop their existing reporting and analysis skills in a dynamic and progressive organisation.

You will join a close-knit team responsible for processing and accounting for a wide range of compensation arrangements across the globe. As such, you must be a highly analytical and adaptable individual with the ability to manage very high volumes of data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly reporting on compensation and benefits for EMEA, Asia and Japan including variance analysis and producing forecast information. Presenting findings to senior management.
  • Reconciliation, review and booking of monthly post-employment benefits
  • Employer tax reporting supporting the firm’s global compensation and benefits reporting
  • Preparation of compensation related disclosure notes for European subsidiaries
  • Oversight and control of compensation management recharges and overhead
  • Supporting other reporting teams, providing relevant compensation data and analysis as required
  • Proactive involvement in developing and improving internal processes and controls
  • Maintaining effective relationships and communication with key stakeholders and other business areas including Human Resources, Payroll Operations, regional vendors and senior management.
  • Effective workload and time management, balancing project and BAU delivery

You will be a qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CA/CIMA) with exceptional analytical and reporting skills. Ideally you will have practical experience working in a global organisation and can thrive in a fast-paced environment managing high volumes of data. Experience of managing or contributing to process improvement would be beneficial. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are essential as you will be required to communicate with a variety of contacts across the globe.
