Regulatory Reporting Manager required for the Liguidity and Funding Controller team of this Glasgow based global corporate. The team is responsible for preparing, calculating, reviewing and filing both the internal and external liquidity and funding reporting returns required by international regulators including the PRA and EBA. 

As a Manager in the team, you will...

  • Review the preparation processes for sections of the daily and monthly liquidity reporting suite
  • Directly manage individuals, offering professional support and career development
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders across different departments and regions
  • Undertake analysis of liquidity reporting data to validate and understand key business drivers
  • Participate in improvement efforts including department level work streams and IT automation initiatives
  • Ensure liquidity reporting adheres to the defined control framework and is consistent with the key reporting produced across the wider team

You will be a qualified Accountant with a strong technical accounting background in financial or regulatory reporting gained within financial services, wider industrycommerce. Applicants are also welcome from practice auditors looking for their first move in-house.  You will be able to demonstrate a rounded commercial approach to reporting and controllership at review level.  The role will require of you to be able to manage multiple tasks including resolving issues, project management and leading a team.  You will therefore be someone who thrives in working in dynamic, challenging environment under tight deadlines where no two days are the same.
