It is expected that you shall have at least 5 years capital equipment sales experience, ideally in production/manufacturing equipment. An engineering background would be advantageous, but a technical mindset would suffice. A background in food production equipment, chemical or textile processing industries would be a distinct advantage. Given the role covers the European and Middle Eastern geographical region, you must be prepared to travel with the role, potentially up to 50% of the time (both Nationally and Internationally). It goes without saying that you shall have first class communication skills, both written and oral, but an eye for detail and a demonstrable record of success are essential qualities.
