Our client is global software business that creates and deploys solution orientated world-leading applications and services within the Energy sector.

They currently seek a Technical Project Delivery Manager for their Livingston based Services team to own and lead the projects delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing and managing the deployment of interacting complex enterprise software and software dependencies
  • End-to-end responsibility on the Software Delivery part of projects to meet the schedule, cost and quality commitments. 
  • Good knowledge of IT infrastructures (e.g. High Performance Storage Systems, or IT Networks, or OS/VM environments) 
  • Project Execution control: Building effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity tracking to update the client Project Manager on progress 
  • Share responsibility with the client Project Manager , through close coordination, for scope management (change requests assessment), risk management and problem management 
  • Trigger and validate engineering Gate Reviews (Solution, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness)

Coming from the Energy / Utilities sector you will have strong technical expertise in one of the following areas:

  • Software Project Delivery Manager / Engineer
  • Electrical Control Engineer / Manager
  • Electrical Lead Engineer

You will be able to demonstrate competence in performance management, on-time delivery, cost management, and customer satisfaction.  The role requires a highly collaborative approach, strong customer focus and the ability to deliver results.
