Lusona’s client, a vibrant and growing digital technology company in the scientific sector, are looking for a talented Product Specialist to join their dedicated team of Engineers, Scientists and Technologists in Glasgow.

As Product Specialist you will support the development of the company’s advanced in-house product related to the digitalisation of chemistry. You will work closely with the Product Manager as the key technical interface to the commercial side of the business and act as the key technical product expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Product Manager in managing user expectations and requirements
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for user experience queries and incident management and communicating with the development team
  • Assist in developing chemistry-based digital solutions in an Agile environment, derived from an understanding of user operations and analysis of their needs
  • Effectively communicating the full capabilities and benefits of the systems to clients
  • Troubleshooting issues arising in effective usage and assisting in feedback gathering in order to translate to user stories for application in further product development efforts
  • Supporting the platform across deployments and providing a comprehensive suite of supporting user documentation

You will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry or a related science, with experience of chemistry workflows within relevant organisations (e.g. Pharma, CRO, Academia) You will be experienced in developing innovative technical solutions and can work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. Previous customer/client focus experience is essential. Experience of working in an agile environment is desirable, as is working knowledge of Salesforce CRM. Additionally, you will be a self-motivated, creative and proactive individual with exemplary communication skills.
