“Product Managers” within the business have day to day responsibility for a range of innovation and technology products. They are responsible for internal adoption of the tools, as well as client engagement and understanding of how the UK firm utilises such tools in client solutions.

This role is all about...

  • Maintaining and improving the processes for the creation, support and archiving of projects using tech products, working alongside the Tech Tools team. Create commercial models for product use across different work types.  Ownership of the agreed pricing/commercial model.
  • Manage budgets for each product and work with finance and practice groups on costing legal technology enabled in client solutions.
  • Advise the business on the benefits and use cases for products and be the 'subject matter expert'.  Detailed knowledge of the functionality of products and comparative products in the market. 
  • Build relationship with supplier management, training and support teams and understand their roadmap and effectively share that with stakeholders. Maintain knowledge of competitor roadmaps.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders on technical issues, upgrades, roadmap, enhancement requests, process and pricing model changes etc.
  • Ensure the firm has the right resources in place to demonstrate, build, train and support each of the products that the Product Manager is responsible for.
  • Demonstrations of products and functionality to practice groups and clients.  Work as part of a team the Innovation team, Operations & Project Managers and other technical product owners to build solutions and help win client work.
  • Be the named contact for business users and assist business with requests to use products and respond to queries about functionality – including assisting with use cases and building example and live sites. Prepare and approve all marketing and client pitch material.
  • Regular reporting to product sponsors and management on use of products and financials.
  • Work with Business Sponsor on any new initiatives / campaigns on the use, major upgrades or developments to the products and the services we provide to clients using them.

About You…

  • You will be an accomplished Product Manager (or similar) with a proven track record in product management in a commercialised environment
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing a range of products or services
  • Familiarity with service management solutions such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Cherwell (or similar)
  • Professional services sector experience would be an advantage
  • Strong communications skills essential
  • Strong technical skills will be necessary
  • Flexible attitude and ability to juggle a mixed role and busy workload
  • Solution oriented and self-starter mindset is essential
