Our Public Sector Client is looking to appoint a Procurement Officer to join this newly formed team.

Working alongside the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Officer will be responsible for all of the clients procurement requirements, so no two days will be the same!  You will have responsible for day to day procurement requirements, mini-competitions, quick quotes and maintaining all systems management and reporting.  You will get to work with a variety of Stakeholders and be responsible for delivering a first-class procurement service to them. 

Experience and knowledge required for the role:

  • You must have worked within a Procurement Role within either a Private or Public Sector organisation
  • Understanding of EU & Public Sector Procurement procedures – training and support will be given
  • Proven experience in tendering
  • Knowledge of the principles of contract drafting and negotiation
  • Have strong communication skills and enjoy working with people!!!
