Private Client Tax Assistant required for the Glasgow Private Client Services team of this Big 4 firm of Chartered Accountants. The team act for a wide range of entrepreneurs, family businesses, private equity and hedge fund principals, large landed estates, high profile professional partnerships and senior executives of large listed and private businesses.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with the firms’ excellent existing client portfolio, providing you with the chance to build and expand your network and experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain tax relationships with clients, prioritising high quality client service
  • Build successful relationships internally within your team and the wider firm
  • Playing your part in winning new work through proactively managing existing clients and contributing to winning new clients
  • Manage successful delivery of tax projects, maintaining technical excellence
  • Responsible for daily delivery of client communication
  • Act as a key member of the client service team, providing full tax services to a client portfolio
  • A degree of flexibility to meet client/department needs and deadline
  • Helping to supervise and coach more junior members of the team

You will ideally be ATT/CA/ACCA qualified with a strong technical background in personal / private client tax compliance gained in accounting or law firm.  CTA is advantageous but not essential. Strong client relationship management skills are imperative as effective time management, and team working skills.
