Lusona Consultancy are working in partnership with a global specialist in compostable catering equipment who are based in the City Centre of Edinburgh. Due to significant business, growth they are looking to appoint an experienced Pricing Business Analyst.

Working with the Commercial Team, the Pricing Business Analyst will be responsible for managing the competitive pricing of a large number of SKU’s, preparing quotes, tenders and rebates for customers and tracking competitors pricing. 

Your role will be to ensure that our client is a market leader and you will do this through;

• Develop and implement a pricing and bid strategy for the company
• Advise and set the price and margin to ensure sales wins and profitability
• Monitor and advise on Supplier costs and highlight any issues affecting cost
• Develop and procedures in the Commercial Department
• Support the Sales Team with the preparation of tenders, pricing on specialist and bespoke items and provide specialist quotes as required
• Examine the product range for slow moving items

Knowledge and experience required for the role;

• Experience of working in a similar Pricing/Business/Commercial analyst role
• Experience of preparing pricing, quotes and tenders for customers
• Love numbers and has exceptional analytical skills
• Complete whizz in Excel – must love a spreadsheet/dashboard etc
• Must be driven, self-starter and pro-active
• Experience of working with International customers, the USA & Europe would be the highly advantageous
