Lusona Financial Services are looking for a financial planner or a trainee financial planner to join a business in Glasgow. The company are a large, well-funded organisation who have a number of corporate partnerships which provide them with a steady flow of work.
The role will be desk based initially where the adviser will focus on pension transfer work. The pension transfer work is generated through the pension providers they work with. The provider will write to the scheme members to make them aware of their options, and in turn they will contact you.
Your role will be to perform a full fact find to assess the financial planning needs of the individual. From there you will assess if a transfer would be in the best interest of the client and identify additional areas where they could use financial advice.
You must be level 4 qualified but there is no need to hold G60, AF3 or AF7 at the outset as your work will be fully supervised initially. The business is large enough that they can provide full training locally and from their head office. This is why they are happy to consider applications from diploma qualified trainees who have a background working as a paraplanner, broker consultant, telephone account manager or other relevant position.
