Lusona Financial Services are looking for individuals with exposure to pension transfer work, to join an IFA firm in Edinburgh. The business operates within a broader actuarial practice and are broadening their proposition to offer private client financial planning through workplace financial advice.
The department has a nice mix of being part of a large corporate entity but this particular team is a small part of the overall group, and the result is that there is still a close-knit team feeling. The department is growing and is a key part of the business’ growth strategy so it could be a great people for those looking to climb the career ladder.
As a group they are very conservative on the pension transfer work that they will perform, so they are looking for consultative individuals rather than those that are looking to take advantage of the pension freedoms.
The position is office based so might be of interest to those that are looking for a role operating between office hours, and offering a lot less travel than many other financial planner roles.
It is essential that you have worked as an independent financial adviser, a restricted financial consultant, paraplanner, or as a pension transfer specialist. You will hold, or be near to passing, G60, AF3, AF7, PETR or similar qualification and will need to be level 4 qualified.
On offer is a salary of around £55,000 plus excellent company benefits and a company performance related bonus.
