Our client is an established firm of Chartered Accountants situated in Fife. The firm provide a comprehensive range of financial and business support services and ongoing strategic advice which has helped many of their clients to grow and develop their businesses over the years.
The Partners currently seek a Partner Designate for succession planning purposes to manage the firm’s impressive portfolio of agricultural clients. You will manage a portfolio of these clients with oversight of accounting, tax, and business advisory services provided within. Initially, this will be a very hands-on role involving a great deal of client-facing work. You will be involved with regular client meetings, building trust and rapport with your clients to eventually become the main point of contact for agricultural and some estate matters. You will also come to review work prepared by junior members, discussing with the current partner and providing valuable feedback to clients.
If you have aspirations of Partnership and are experienced in general practice accounting for farming clients, we would be keen to speak to you. A relevant professional qualification is essential (CA/ACCA/ACA) as is excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills. Relevant tax experience, including exposure to tax planning would be advantageous.
