Our client is a specialist production firm, who as a result of growth and internal changes need to strengthen their maintenance team. Reporting to the senior leadership team you shall be responsible for ensuring maximum machine uptime, through both reactive and preventative maintenance, and in the development or enhancement of current maintenance processes.

Specifically the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out both reactive maintenance on breakdowns and preventative maintenance via a daily worksheet on a range of plant and processing equipment on site. This will involve machine inspections and attending to any breakdowns, and the management of the current maintenance system. This includes safety and risk assessment checks,

It is expected that you shall be time served, have worked with a production environment, and held a role that exposed you to the full range of maintenance operations (from fixing machinery to the routine paperwork process that go hand in hand). Experience of working on conveyor systems, rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps and hydraulics/pneumatics would be a distinct advantage.
