Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your role shall be to ensure the efficient planning and execution of all maintenance activities, be they preventive, corrective, calibration, statutory, shutdown or improvement. Specifically you shall be responsible for;

  • the allocation of work schedules, screening work orders as they arise
  • Working closely with Process improvement engineers on identifying projects 
  • Planning and implementing projects to develop plant performance
  • Manage projects and ensure deadlines are met
  • the production of reports detailing the planned maintenance completion, preventative maintenance completion, statutory inspection, completion and highlight any issues for follow up
  • Organizing and maintaining CI activities
  • Create clear and concise shift work packs
  • Prepare critical parts list, maintaining accurate information for all plant equipment
  • Plans parts for all planned tasks to increase “wrench time”.
  • Attend departmental meetings
  • Assist with maintenance health & safety assessments e.g., risk assessments etc

It is expected that you shall have a background in maintenance planning, ideally within an engineering environment. You will possess at least an HNC in an engineering related discipline, have an eye for detail, outstanding communication skills and experience of CMMS.
