Lusona’s client, a leading global professional services firm, is looking to recruit an IT Trainer to be based in their office in Glasgow.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide effective, high-quality technology training to a dynamic global business. You will develop and deliver first-class learning solutions to employees at all levels. You will also be responsible for providing training sessions for specific ad-hoc queries as well as tailoring more bespoke solutions for key business areas.


  • Develop and deliver instructor-led workshops, e-Learning courses and virtual training
  • Active involvement in delivering training solutions for all staff including Partners and support staff across all offices
  • Ensure all training duties and activities are carried out in compliance with the firm's regulatory requirements and policies
  • Accurately update learning management systems
  • Manage and provide support on internal team projects
  • Maintain positive customer satisfaction levels and feedback
  • Play an active role in knowledge sharing activities

Key Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in creating high quality, succinct training materials
  • Experience of working through complete IT project lifecycles
  • Proven track record of delivering MS Office 2010 from basic to advanced level
  • Knowledge of learning methodologies and learning styles
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and to work to deadlines
  • Proactive, problem solving approach to work
  • Experience of training needs analysis and evaluation methods
  • Ability to build effective team relationships
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of the learning cycle
  • Experience of working remotely and/or within a variety of international cultures

You will have previous experience working as an IT trainer in a legal or professional services firm. Ideally you will have a relevant training certification e.g. Train-the-Trainer Certification (LPI) or On-line training (COLF, CDOL) and will be skilled at creating effective and concise training materials. You will be an excellent communicator and capable of influencing and supporting technology users at all levels. MOS qualification would also be beneficial.
