An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim HRBP/Manager to join a growing manufacturing business in South Ayrshire. Due to structure changes within the business, this role has been created to develop and support the people agenda across two sites. 

  • Working in partnership with the business leaders establish clarity of business vision and goals and the values and behaviours that will deliver this
  • Through facilitated discussions achieve a fit for purpose organisational structure with clear roles and responsibilities to support the growth plans of the business.
  • Develop an employee communication and engagement plan that provides the workforce with an understanding of business performance and direction of travel and their role in achieving success
  • Provide coaching and mentoring support to leaders and managers to support delivery of the HR & People Development plan
  • Review existing HR processes and practices for compliance and best practices making recommendations for improvement
  • Identify development interventions (both people and process) to achieve the desired business performance levels

This organisation requires a HR professional who can provide HR/ OD support and challenge at a strategic level, bringing independence, objectivity and an external perspective:

  • Experience operating at a strategic level in a HR function ideally with practical knowledge and understanding of people challenges within the industry/sector.
  • Strong in relationship building, influencing and communication skills with ability to challenge others’ viewpoints constructively
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • High levels of personal integrity.
