A rare opportunity has arisen within a global organisation for an experienced HR Manager to join their new manufacturing site in North Lanarkshire.

This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the new site on all generalist HR activity and additional support to the organisations main manufacturing site.  

  • Facilitate/Lead the implementation of people development interventions in the function e.g. Graduate Programme, Programme of Excellence, functional training and work with L&D to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Engage effectively with employees, leadership teams and Local Employee Forums to ensure full delivery of an HR service.
  • Work with Leaders and HRBP’s to advise upon, and support partnership working as and when required, in accordance with relevant Company Policy and Best Practice.
  • Participate in the delivery and support the implementation of Global Projects and initiatives to maximise service improvement and employee engagement in support of the delivery of the Global HR Strategy
  • Support end-to-end Recruitment and Selection in the relevant Business Unit(s), including managing and monitoring PSL performance.
  • Support and guide Leaders on Policy, Procedure and Employee Relations Legislation including advising on complex grievance and disciplinary.
  • Collate, analyse and report relevant and identified management information for monthly submission to operational leadership teams to identify trends, continuous improvement actions and aid decision making.
  • Support and role model an environment which enables high performing teams to work effectively and drives a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support the development and lead delivery of the manufacturing site people strategy and objectives in partnership with the site leadership team to ensure a culture of high quality and performance

Skills and experience required:

  • Experienced in developing and producing management information and reports
  • CIPD qualified, or equivalent, professional HR qualification, with experience of operating at an HR Advisor / Manager level in a generalist role.
  • Working knowledge of HR Systems and reporting
  • Committed to delivering business improvement, ideally at least Yellow belt in Lean Six Sigma or demonstrable problem solving tools and techniques
  • Experience of recruitment and selection procedures and ability to analyse data and trends to inform decision making
  • Experience within the luxury sector or environment or knowledge of this market sector
