Technology is at the heart of our clients’ business and is a key driving force behind its success. They have an impressive track record of growth to date and are looking for a passionate ‘Head of Product’ to be the strategic lead for the commercialisation of their technology platform. This is a newly created role and you will form part of their Exec team based in Glasgow.  

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • You will promote and evangelise the role of Product across the business and to customers
  • You will grow the identity and reputation of Product across the business, championing best practice
  • You will work in collaboration with key Business stakeholders to define strategic initiatives and influence advancements to the Product.
  • You will develop and lead go-to-market launch programmes
  • You identify and communicate risks, issues and opportunities of significant strategic and tactical impact to the business.
  • In collaboration with software engineers you will support the technology strategy and approach for client solutions
  • You are responsible for delivering maximum business benefit with the product being delivered to the customer, as quickly as possible.
  • You will ensure the ongoing assessment of impact/ value of delivered features against defined KPIs is happening and shared.
  • Delivering customer facing and internal product collateral and training material

Skills / Experience

  • Experience as a Senior Product Manager / Head of Product
  • Experience of Products focused on software solutions to clients
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Experience organising and enabling cross functional teams to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well both autonomously and as a part of a team
  • Passionate, Commitment, strong work ethic, ambition, resilience
