Financial Reporting Accountant required for the expanding liquidity and funding reporting team of this Glasgow based global corporate.  The team is responsible for preparing, calculating, reviewing and filing both the internal and external liquidity and funding reporting returns required by various regulators including the PRA, EBA and FED.  This is a significant opportunity to add real value to the team as we embed daily submissions of this high-profile reporting suite to these key global regulators.

Reporting to Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing sections of Daily liquidity reporting suite
  • Performing robust analysis of movements and other key business drivers
  • Building a good understanding of the technical rules & guidance underpinning the report
  • Developing a strong working relationship with key stakeholders across the business, including Corporate Treasury and various Business Units
  • Working with the wider LFC teams (across our other locations) to ensure that reporting is properly linked to our control framework and also there is consistency between our key reports
  • Producing regular performance reporting and key metrics to demonstrate compliance with procedures and to identify potential areas of inefficiency

You will be a part or fully qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, ACA CIMA) with a technical background in financial reporting, external audit or regulatory reporting.  You will be competent in handling/analysing large sets of data and working in a past[aced high energy commercial environment. Developed communication skills are imperative including the ability to build relationships with stakeholders in multiple locations.  In addition, you will be an analytical thinker, with a meticulous work style and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as well as drive improvement in processes.
