An excellent opportunity for newly qualified Accountant to work within the Finance department of our prestigious brand client.  As an Accountant within the Liquidity and Funding Controller team you will fulfill a range of duties including preparing, calculating, reviewing and filing both the internal and external liquidity and funding reporting returns required by international regulators including the PRA and EBA. 

Reporting to Manager, your responsibilities will include…

  • Preparation of the daily and monthly liquidity reporting suite
  • Developing collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders across different departments and regions
  • Undertaking analysis of liquidity reporting data to validate and understand key business drivers.
  • Participate in improvement efforts including department level work streams and IT automation initiatives.
  • Ensuring liquidity reporting adheres to the defined control framework and is consistent with the key reporting produced across the wider team and a first-hand insight into the business.

You will be a qualified accountant, pass-finalist or QBE with a technical background in financial accounting, external audit or regulatory reporting (capital/liquidity).  You will have a demonstrable track record of building effective working relationships with a variety of different stakeholders coupled with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic, challenging environment covering complex subject matter. Excellent communication skills are imperative as is a self-motivated personality with high standards for quality of work and accuracy.
