Lusona Financial Services are keen to speak to financial planners in Edinburgh regarding a role to take on a high-end client base of HNW and UHNW private clients. The client base will be further supplemented by a regular referral stream from an internal captive audience of wealthy families and individuals.
Your role will be to focus on client retention and development, so you will be helped with all aspects of sales support and paraplanning. Growth will come from forming close relationships with internal introducers who will work closely with you to identify financial planning needs within their client portfolios, so an element of the role will be to train and mentor these individuals to spot needs.
The business advises across all areas of financial advice but there is a real focus on investment and pension work, regularly dealing with complex IHT planning and other tax planning requirements. You will be expected to have good knowledge in all areas of advice so will need to have experience working in a wealth management or financial planning environment.
The ideal candidate will be a chartered financial planner or someone that is level 4 or diploma qualified and willing to perform further studies.
They are open minded as to where you have learned your trade be it with a wealth manager, private bank, accountant or solicitor firm that has in-house financial advice offering, or from those working in a national or regional IFA (Independent Financial Adviser). They will also consider people looking to make the move from a restricted advice or product provider background. The key is that you are polished, professional and motivated.
A rough salary band of £70,000 to £100,000 will be offered based on experience, and they offer an excellent benefits package beyond this along with a company performance related bonus.
