Lusona Financial Services are working with a firm of chartered financial planners in Edinburgh, who are looking for someone to join and pick up the excess clients from their existing team of financial advisers. The team have become victims of their own success and have reached capacity, so are now looking for someone to come in to help with their workload.
With this role there is no need for you to bring any clients or for you to self-generate your own work, so this could be the ideal role for a paraplanner that is looking to move into advice or for someone that has recently started their career in financial advice.
Your first year will consist of you performing joint appointments with the more experienced advisers in the office, allowing you to do a professional handover of the clients while also allowing you time to get up to speed with the financial planning process. Full training and support will be provided within a company that have invested in creating a robust platform for people at the start of their career.
It is essential that you have either worked as a trainee financial adviser, a financial planner or in paraplanning. You are required to have good knowledge across investment, pension and protection cases. Applicants must also have completed a level 4 or diploma level qualification through the CII, CISI or LIBF.
A salary of £35,000 to £45,000 is payable initially and you will see your salary increase significantly in the years ahead. You will also benefit from staff benefits, bonus and full study support.
