Financial Governance Senior Manager required for the Finance function of this Glasgow based plc.

You will be primarily responsible for the project workstreams associated with the Firm’s global consolidated and non-consolidated legal entity populations. These entities require monitoring in order to support structure changes within the Firm, and to meet regulatory and internal reporting requirements.

You will have the opportunity to establish a network of key senior stakeholders across the firm with the view to achieving objectives and deliverables. You will also be involved in the deliverables associated with monitoring compliance with the governance frameworks that are in place for the global consolidated and non-consolidated legal entity populations.

This role is all about…

Legal entity population management:

  • Oversee the processes, risks, and controls within the consolidated legal entity lifecycle.
  • Ensure completeness of purpose type information for the non-consolidated legal entity population

Legal entity data governance and supervision:

  • Facilitate completion of monthly reconciliations and data attestations
  • As required, work with data owners to identify responsibility for the investigation and resolution of data inconsistencies between systems

Legal entity management reporting:

  • Produce MI and metrics to provide assurance for legal entity governance

Stakeholder management

  • Deliver the above through working effectively with key global and regional stakeholders

You will be a qualified Accountant with relevant Financial Governance, Risk or Audit experience gained in the profession, industry or Financial Services. You will have excellent Excel skills with competence in data mining and summarising themes and results.   You will be an accomplished people manager with demonstrable planning and organisation skills.  Developed communication skills are imperative as is the ability to build and maintain relationships.
