Finance Manager – Glasgow City Centre
Salary up to £55k
Lusona is working exclusively with our client in Glasgow City Centre to source suitable applicants for the post of Finance Manager. The company is a leading provider of key services to support the onshore & offshore wind industry and they have recently been acquired by a PE firm.
The business is going through an exciting period of growth, both organically and by acquisition Worldwide. They have created a new finance function and the Finance Manager will play a key part in developing the financial processes and managing the finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the main duties will include:
- Providing full financial supporting to the Australian entity, which will include cost control and reporting, cash control, preparation of budgeting, financial planning and forecasting reports and financial analysis to support the business
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller with financial controls, cost control, ledgers integrity, balance sheet control and cash control for entities in the UK and Europe
- Working with the wider Finance team – to implement new financial processes and develop financial systems
It is essential that applicants are fully Qualified, ACCA, CIMA or ICAS, with previous experience in a similar role. Candidates will ideally have previous experience of working in a contracting business and have previously supported entities in remote locations.
The role will be based at Head Office in Glasgow City Centre, and the client has confirmed the successful candidate will work out of Glasgow, however some travel to other sites will be expected occasionally.
