A new requirement for a newly qualified Solicitor has been created within the Energy & Infrastructure Finance team within this international law firm based in Edinburgh. The role would suit an NQ or recently qualified Solicitor - ideally with experience in energy and finance related work, however those with corporate or commercial contracts experience would also be of interest too.
The team carries out a wide range of top tier and high value project and finance work, including energy project development work, energy regulation, renewable energy finance, upstream oil & gas finance, energy efficiency and low carbon advisory mandates. Their clients consist of a number of utilities, UK and international banks, renewable energy developers and O&G exploration and production companies, local authorities, infrastructure funds and private equity. The work of the team has an increasingly international flavour given both inward investment and clients looking to invest in international markets and you can expect to work with colleagues in some of the firm's other international offices.
This is a transactional role, with a large amount of client contact and the opportunity to specialise in a strategic and diverse industry sector.
