This leading independent Scottish Law Firm has a new urgent requirement for an experienced Employment Solicitor with at least 7 years of relevant PQE to join their Employment law team.
The successful applicant will be able to work remotely so location is flexible. A minimum 3 month contract will be offered although there is also a chance that this could be extended.
The team offer advice in relation to day-to-day employment issues, such as disciplinary and grievance, absence, performance, dismissals and industrial relations, as well as supporting corporate transactions, providing advice on TUPE transfers and change management, including redundancy programmes and restructuring and handling employment litigation.
Their lawyers are experienced in advising on Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) proceedings, as well as on alternative dispute resolution approaches such as mediation. The team includes in-house Solicitor Advocates who regularly appear in the Court of Session, including in relation to the enforcement of restrictive covenants and the protection of confidential information.
