A new opportunity has been created for an Employment Associate Solicitor to join the Employment team within this international law firm based at their office in Glasgow.
To be considered, you will ideally have between 0-2 years of relevant experience including corporate support, TUPE and employment tribunal work; however there might be some flexibility around this.
The firm's UK employment team is made up of over 40 qualified lawyers across six locations. They are committed to all of their lawyers gaining an excellent mix of work and experience, and are able to deliver this given the exceptional range of clients that they work with, and their first class training.
You will be involved in advising commercial clients in relation to matters including:
- Day-to-day employment queries including (but not limited to) disciplinary/grievance matters, ill health and disability issues and changes to terms and conditions
- HR data privacy
- Senior executive contracts, negotiations and terminations,
- Collective matters such as redundancies, integration and TUPE,
- Corporate support
- Trade union matters, and
- Tribunal litigation where you will be expected to conduct the advocacy on behalf of their clients at employment tribunal and employment appeal tribunal
The team also regularly advises clients on cross-jurisdictional projects.
