Corporate Tax Senior Advisor required for the highly-successful, dedicated corporate tax team of this Big 4 firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow.

The team provides a high standard and trusted corporate tax service to a diverse range of clients across the globe from large multinational groups to entrepreneurial businesses. They also work closely with private client teams to provide wider, valuable tax advisory services to businesses and their individuals.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting with the successful and efficient delivery to tax services to a varied client portfolio across advisory, compliance and assurance
  • Managing successful delivery of tax projects, prioritising technical excellence and adopting a practical and business-driven approach
  • Building strong and sustainable client relationships with a with high levels of client service, ensuring regular, professional client liaison and managing their expectations
  • Building effective internal relationships across the business, identifying opportunities for development
  • Supporting with business development opportunities from existing clients and identifying potential new clients
  • Proactively coaching and developing junior members of the team

You will be a qualified Accountant or Tax Advisor with relevant corporate tax experienced gained within a firm of professional advisors or industry. You will have a good understanding of UK corporation tax issues. Advisory experience is advantageous, as is experience in tax accounting and tax audit. Excellent oral and written communication skills are imperative as is the ability to build effective working relationships with current and potential clients;
