An exceptional new opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join the highly-regarded Corporate Finance team of this respected firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisors in Edinburgh. 

Joining a growing team, you will work closely with a varied client base of entrepreneurs, C-suite boards, investors and shareholders across a range of sectors. You will be involved with some interesting, high-profile transactions and build your professional profile within corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct involvement with a variety of transactions that will include company disposals, acquisitions, debt/equity fundraising and management buy-outs.
  • Preparation of complex forecast models, reviewing and analysing detailed financial data from multiple sources.
  • Participation in meetings with Partners and Senior Management, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to support the advice being given
  • Carrying out detailed research and preparing documentation to support potential transactions and pitches for new client opportunities.
  • Drafting supporting truncation materials, including investment memoranda, pitch documents and valuation reports.
  • Working closely with colleagues in Corporate Finance and the wider firm to establish and build your professional profile.

You will be newly or nearly qualified (CA/ACCA/ACA) with ambition to grow a successful corporate finance career. You will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in an Accountancy Practice - either within CF or in external audit and looking to make the move into corporate finance. You must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
