An exceptional new opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join the highly-regarded Corporate Finance team of this respected firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisors in Edinburgh.

Joining a growing team, you will work closely with a varied client base of entrepreneurs, C-suite boards, investors and shareholders across a range of sectors. You will be involved with some interesting, high-profile transactions and build your professional profile within corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct involvement with a variety of transactions that will include company disposals, acquisitions, debt/equity fundraising and management buy-outs.
  • Preparation of complex forecast models, reviewing and analysing detailed financial data from multiple sources.
  • Participation in meetings with Partners and Senior Management, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to support the advice being given
  • Carrying out detailed research and preparing documentation to support potential transactions and pitches for new client opportunities.
  • Drafting supporting truncation materials, including investment memoranda, pitch documents and valuation reports.
  • Working closely with colleagues in Corporate Finance and the wider firm to establish and build your professional profile.

You will be newly or nearly qualified (CA/ACCA/ACA) with ambition to grow a successful corporate finance career.  A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Corporate Finance or Audit within a Top Accountancy firm is essential. You must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
