Due to continued growth, a new role has been created for a Contentious Construction Solicitor to join this international firm based in Edinburgh.
The team advise on every aspect of Construction Law across all sectors of the industry, both contentious and non-contentious. The work on offer is hugely varied and includes buildings, civil and process plant engineering, energy, infrastructure and utilities - across both private and public sectors. They also provide project support and advice to their wider Real Estate, Banking and Projects teams.
They are looking for a Construction lawyer to join the team to work on a variety of construction matters (which includes construction and projects). The role will involve working primarily on contentious construction matters.
Applicants will ideally have between 0-4 years of relevant PQE along with strong academics and at least six months construction experience gained during their training contract or post qualification at a leading practice recognised for construction or Real Estate work. Candidates will therefore have a good grounding in construction law (contentious and/or non-contentious), which should include building work, preferably with process plant, energy and utility and/or infrastructure experience.
