A new opportunity for a Compliance Counsel to join the Legal Department within a global organisation, based in Glasgow. Candidates will ideally have at least 1-2 years of experience gained in data protection or compliance.
The primary purpose of the role will be to design and implement key compliance programmes in relation to data protection, modern slavery, anti-bribery and corruption.
More specifically, this will include the delivery of training programmes, policies and procedures; monitoring and enhancing these programmes on an on-going basis; conducting compliance reviews whilst being a global ambassador for improved compliance and governance across the business.
The successful candidate must have experience in developing and successfully embedding compliance programmes in an international organisation, a high level of business acumen is essential, as is the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
