As Assistant Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of audit planning, as well as delivering the plan to your clients. You will take on daily team management duties, acting as mentor and role model, and reviewing the work of junior colleagues. You will also have direct contact with key client staff, providing insightful reporting, and managing timescales. You will also participate in strategic reporting meetings and support with the tender process for new business.
You will be CA/ACCA/ACA qualified with demonstrable experience auditing limited companies within a Top UK Accounting firm. You will have experience of working with IFRS and UK GAAP reporting standards and leading audit colleagues on client assignments. You must have exceptional communication skills and client-management abilities. Project management experience is essential, as is a highly-motivated, collaborative, and commercial approach to your responsibilities.
