Lusona is working with a Global manufacturing organisation in Renfrewshire to source suitable applicants for the post of Assistant Financial Accountant.
Candidates will ideally be working towards an Accountancy Qualification and have previous experience of supporting the statutory accounts team with the preparation of accounts.
Duties will include:
Preparation of financial statements and reporting of dormant and overseas entities.
Assistance in the preparation of year end audit files and statutory financial reports including completion of the annual corporation tax pack.
Financial lead on stock including, but not limited to, daily stock reconciliations and associated investigations and supporting the reconciliation of business stock counts.
Management of stock counts.
Daily review of consignment invoicing status with Accounts Administrators and lead on resolving any problems arising.
Working with wider Finance team and consignment partners to continuously improve consignment invoicing processes and business systems
Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register, ensuring purchases and disposals are accurately recorded
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparation and completion of all monthly government and statutory returns.
Meet all required deadlines through effective planning and organisation.
It is essential candidates have excellent attention to detail to consistently providing accurate and meaningful financial information with excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong and effective working relationships across the company. Candidates will ideally be working towards an Accountancy Qualification but will also consider QBE candidates. In return, our client offers a competitive salary and study support.
